Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician hailing from Greece. He was one of the founding members of the heavy metal group Motley Crue. Lee is the long-term drummer for Motley Crue, and is also the creator of Methods of Mayhem, a metal rap group. Lee has also pursued solo musical endeavors. Lee is an avid PETA member and a fervent advocate for the rights of animals. Lee wrote Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment in the year 2010. Lee believes that the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld could not be a good partner as Tilikum is their main donor of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure at SeaWorld's inept and bizarre methods to obtain Tilikum fertilm. Lee stated that he wanted to stop more tragedies from happening like trainers' deaths, which was due to the whales' inability be kept captive.
