Najarra Townsend
Najarra knew what she wanted to do with her life from the time she was three. She began modeling and performing in local stage productions and was able to stay involved in theater as well as musical productions throughout her childhood and teenage years. In her twenties, she made her debut on the big screen, co-starring in the movie "Menace". Najarra was internationally recognized for her performance in "Me and You and All the People We are", which won the Sundance and Cannes awards in 2005. The actress has appeared as the title role in a variety of films, such as: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and was a part of numerous other independent films. "Contracted," the IFC Midnight horror smash "Contracted" revealed a completely different side to the actress. Najarra wants to dedicate her time to activities she loves and that inspire her.
