Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American performer and model. Kotero was also the co-star of Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. Her name was associated with her as co-star in the Prince 1984 movie Purple Rain, and the member of the girl band Apollonia 6 It was among the many female artists to benefit from Prince's collaboration in the 1980s. She was born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959, her work began as a model and actress towards the end of the 1970s as well as an appearance in the TV show CHiPS. In 1984, she was cast as the title of female lead for Prince's Purple Rain (during which time he changed her name) and was replaced by Vanity in the female duo Vanity 6 which performed on the screen under the title Apollonia 6. It was got a role on the show called Falcon Crest between 1985-1986. Apollonia's debut record was released in 1988. But the R&B/dance tracks weren't well received by the music buying public. After a while, the album vanished. She continued to be active as an actor (even if it was a small amount of a mystery) during the following decade performing in small television roles and films. There was even an exercise film that came out. In 1997 Apollonia released a Spanish/English album that was titled Stay with Me. Following that, she getting back to university and earning an award for filmmaking, she formed her production company. Apollonia plays many roles. Model, actress, and manager of talent.
